Xmas Meal
This was held at The Old Lane on pewsham on Saturday 20th December. Over 40 players and a few wives, gf's etc were there and had an extremely good ( and well-behaved) night. The fact that the 1sts and 2nds had won earlier in the day probably helped! (3rds didnt play).
When I get them, I will post a pic or 3.

3rds result
The only game the 3rds have had recently was on the 29th November at Home v The Stiffs. A polished performance resulted in a 6-3 win, with goals from Adam Coutts (2), Sean Huxtable (first for the club), Tommy O'Cain, Mark Kmiec and Mick Austin from the bench.
Sadly all the other games were called off!

Results - 2nds
On 6th December, the 2nds travelled to swindon to play champions elect Greenmeadow. In an extremely close game, FCCY went down 1-2, Chris McConnell scoring his first for the club.
Then on the 20th, we travelled to Castle Combe and despite them fielding many of their 1st team players, recorded a very welcome 4-0 win. The goals came from Dan Clements (his 1st since returning to FCCY), Brett Partner, Dave Nolan and Mat Spear (also his first since his return).

Results- 1st team
Nov 29th - In a feisty game, FCCY beat Trowbridge Town 2-1. Excellent performance against a team that were probably the most unpleasant we have played against in a year or so. It was very enjoyable to get the points at least! Pepe Petrov and Mark Nolan put us 2-0 up before a late goal from the opponents made it a bit tense at the finish.
We then had a series of postponements due to the weather, eventually playing on the 20th December at Pewsey Vale. After a very slow start, we went a goal down. Then some 25 minutes into the game, we started to get the ball down and play, creating numerous chances, eventually converting a smashing move on the stroke of half-time, Pepe Petrov starting and finishing the move.
The 2nd half started with a bang, Aaron Merryweather scoring within the first 30 seconds of the re-start. Church then made it 3-1, before a scrambled goal from Pewsey came in reply. FCCY continued to play some brilliant stuff and were rewarded with a penalty from Mark Nolan and another great goal from Pepe. Several other chances were spurned, but we were very happy with a 5-2 away win.
