1st team lost 1-5 at Purton Res, Church getting a late consolation. Then lost 0-3 at Bradford Town Res, going 3 down before deciding to play. Things must get better.
The 2nds beat Castle Combe Res 4-1, Mick Austin 2, Garry Lock and Craig Ewles (1st goal for FCCY). This was followed by a 0-6 reverse against Moredon Cheney in the Junior Cup. Improvement will be needed as the 2nds face the same opposition in the league this week.
The 3rds had a welcome 4-2 win against a weak Steeple Ashton Res side with goals from Josh Hodges 2 (1st for the club) John Cole (also 1st for the club) and Tommy O'Cain. This was followed by a 0-6 beating v Westwood, who will probably be looking at winning this league.
